the connection and all went off for 2 days because my dad's funny workers didnt pay the bills.
and so much happened in that two days so imma have to do summary on all the events or i'll go on forever.

saturday

i went shopping for shoes because a certain someone wants them.
went to the shopping areas my sch friends suggested.apparently those places sell the original just at half the price.
but couldnt find any nice one after walking so much.
went back to sleep for awhile den off to the gym.
we went and got membership at omni saigon hotel healthclub.
good workout and steam bath and dinner to follow.

we walked home.

we will never walk anywhere again.

2 guys on a bike went pass us and snatched my dad's shoebag.
my dad was too stunned to do anything but point and he thought my mom's old slippers where inside so just let it go.
i was bewildered at my dad's reaction--none.
and my mom realized tt she put her new genuine nike shoes in the bag.
and no we cant do anything about it.bribe the police yes but forget it.
we went home and had a good laugh at how DUH my dad was and how we have really had the whole taste of life here.
so now no using of my phone on the streets.no bags that i cant sling.no jewellery[i heard the extremes some would go to get your watch or necklace]and no walking as much as we can help it.
my first reaction was to give chase and scream real loud,den when i catch up with them i'd box the guy in the head,bite his arm,take the bag and scream somemore.but too late.
hmmm.you really wont understand and appreciate a non-corrupt government until you go some place like here.
it's disgusting but we're thankful.
thankful that
we werent hurt.
we had shoes for others to steal.
we can buy more shoes.
we will only have to stay in this area for another 3 months.
my dad tried to console himself by eating what seemed like a bar of chocolate with cashew nuts or so says the packaging.
but nooooooooooo..if they can cheat you they will.wad cashew nuts.we laughed so bad that night.

sunday

it was so much easier to go for worship when we werent angry with the snatchthieves.
we met mom's friends from singapore after church and went shopping.
mom bought her nike shoes.i bought my adidas swimming costume.yes i have to swim with the elementary kids.
went for dinner back at the same place where the boy peed on me and had giant prawns again.
ate so much i thought i was gonna give birth.went home and did some homework.
that night we prayed that by some miracle God will use the stolen shoes to bring them around and seek Him.
the miracle shoes.hallelujah.
nothing is impossible.

today there's no sch.some day where the teachers have to do community service so.
did more hw.and waited in front of the com till it net worked.
we'll be gymming later but the driver's gonna fetch i think.i hope.i pray.
well tmr there'll be a quiz on world history which i know nuts about.
and i realized tt i've typed quite a bit so i'll stop now and reply the desperate ppl on msn.
