the much awaited day arrived.way too slow but oh well.
friday.
went to the airport to pick mo na ivan and joshua up.
after getting touched and shoved and pushed and pulled and stared at and smoked at.they came.
i guess it was worth it.
and when i said we dont rest i meant it.
straight frm the airport we went to have 80 cents pho bo[beef noodles]
off we went to ben thanh market.
na doesnt know how to not spend money.
before we could get to the third store i heard a
"ster wait!..how much is this?"she pointed to a teeshirt"450000 VND for one"the vendor said"i buy 2 for 200000 VND"sheena demanded"no too cheap"argued the vendor"no."challenged sheena"2 for 400000 VND"the vendor hoped"no."sheena insisted"you give more"the vendor pleaded"no."sheena said firmly with that ohsoslappable faceand she went on until she got her price.she has made many enemies for me in vietnam-sheena the bargain queen slash vendor killer-we managed to get quite a bit of shopping done but it "wasnt enough"quote from sheena.den we went on to diamond where they really pitied my life.and to saigon square.shop shop shop shop...coconut and juice...shopshopshop.cross roads!dinner at ban xeo.good thing no one pissed on us.BIG prawns and good food.den we had a foot massage.the boys should really stop giggling.haha.den to juice.for cocktail tt cost 3.50??!!haha.bad idea.got a HUGE headache but ivan was worse.he died.haha.day 2woke up EARLY.thanks minhui.went to cuchi tunnels.they girls make lousy viet cons haha.and joshua could actually fit in hahahahaha.sorry.den we went back to KIMS.ggooooooooddd hairwash.i got a haircut or something like tt hha.the boys got manicure and pedicure can.HP!den we tried to search for a jap restaurant that was open at 3.30=none.so we went to good old lotteria.and had a burger for $2.den they had an experience at the school for the blind massage.hahahahahahahaa.ivan oh groped-ass-ivan.i'll never let tt go.den off to totoya for sashimi and jap food.and a whole long history f he[x] C:i love you girls.den shopshopshop somemore.sheena is scarey.another example of her bargaining."how much?"sheena interiogates"60000"the harmless vendor answers earnestly"20000"sheena tries her luck"nono 60000"the vendor tries HER luck"45000 i buy one, 40000 i buy 2"sheena says without flinging[one would wonder how tt made sense]"no cannot"the vendor's eyes shot out of the socket"den nevermind"sheena struts away"okok come back"the vendor was desperateanyway.thank you joshua and ivan for the earrings!!we had juice as in the real juice this time and headed home.supper was waiting for us.good crabs.and joshua had a little more den bargained for.a lizard in his soup.JOY!haha and we screamed at roaches.haha.den na went to shower while we cleared up.BLACKOUTden you heard "sterrrrrrrrrrrr!!!""shhhhhhhhh""hahahahahaha""welcome to vietnam!"figure out who was who.we stayed up tt night.we as in initially minhui the boys and i cuz sheena became a log.
den it was just the guys and i.played bridge and joshua!!you are unbelievable.
anyway.we played scrabble too.bad bad.
finally slept.
next day.we went to church.but not before shopping somemore.
they bought like 16 viet hats can!!
and still can shop in a supermarket!!best.

there was a blackout during worship.
but joshua knows it was actually just special effects.heh.
den they had to go......
na mo i cannot say enough to thank you for coming and bringing "me" back.
ivan joshua i dont know you well but i'm glad you were willing to share this part of my life with me and i wouldnt have you know me under any other condition-without minhui and sheena.
do come back pleaseeeeeeeeee.i promise we'll have more pampering.
we'll go to the beach!and take the cyclo!
okok i'll go plan for your next trip up here.
