so i have disappeared for a couple of days.
well this will be brief.really tired.

after mo and gang returned.
that same day, joel.daryl and jocelyn from church came.
brought them arnd too.
chao spa!and roxors.sigh..haha.
they left on wed and my aunt came on tt day.
wednesday night i went over to zac's cuz i didnt want to wake my parents at 4am the next day.

next day zac her mom and dad and i got up at 4am.
left the hse by 5am.
went to pick others up.
so it was zac, rosemary(her mom), janet(she's Irish), germaine, laura(germaine's daughter).
den at the airport we met with marcelin.
they have this thing about me not calling them aunty.so it took some adjusting to.
i mean i would feel weird if you guys my age called my parents by first name.
ohwell.they're a great bunch really.there was never a time when i felt uncomfortable or seem to have to leave the table because they wanted an "adult" conversation.
so we took a Vietnam airline 2-hour flight to hanoi.
damn i'm pampered.dont rmb taking any other airline other den SQ.
VN was.erm.nowhere near.
the airport at hanoi was a pleasant surprise.
it's not like in HCMC where the whole village comes with picnic bags to receive one person and shove and jump over you and all.
we met a couple, Giaam(i have no idea how to spell it) and mareala.
den we took a 3 hour bus ride to the dock.
my first impression wasnt good but at least we got one of the nicer boats.

ok so it was the 9 of us to a private boat and we got the nice one!!
the bottom deck was where the cabin were.shared a room with zac.
was kinda small but each room had a toilet with heater and aircon.
the second deck was like a restaurant with the kitchen and our own cook and all.
the top deck had deck chairs and all tt.it was great.
halong bay was beautiful.
so the first day we went to the surprising cave.i swear tt's it's name.hahaha.
and den we kayaked!!it was fun!!
for meals we had crabs and prawns and calamari and yum yum food.
at night the girls stayed up to play charades which was sooo funny.

the next day we went down to this village thing.
it was supposed to be a short walk but it took us like an hour to get to the village.
so by the time we got to the mountain we were supposed to hike.too shag.
but we tried.
on the way to the mountain we saw baby goats!!
on the way up i grazed my knee and got bitten by 6million and 20 thousand mosquitoes.
and when we were out of breath we decided to stop but we were hardly half way up.
so we headed back.but marcelin and giaam continued.
on the way back i kinda skidded all the way down.not funny.
ohwell we waited at the village for the 2
and played all the orientation coffee coffee tea tea i like green i dont like blue games.
which of course i was having fun annoying the rest.
den we headed back to the boat where we showered and had great lunch.
after which they stopped at another mountain wanting us to climb to the top to see the sunset.
not for me.i stayed on the boat.too tired.
den before dinner we had a game of pictionary.they are nothing like any parents or adults i know.hahahahaha.it was erm refreshing.
after dinner.we proceeded to the top deck to watch the stars.awesome.
and we played more psyco games.

the next day we came back.
i've really grown kinda attached to those ppl.
it's sad tt zac will be leaving...
sigh.just when i'm about to have fun.
still feel kinda seasick but ohwell.

tmr's it's nat's surprised bday dinner.
much thanks to anthony who took pains to organize this even though he wasnt all tt close to her.
he's sweet.there's hope for another friend haha.
so i'll be meeting with zac tmr first.

den on wednesday night i'll be back in SINGAPORE!!
